Cream City CatholicAn unsurprising yet disturbing bit of news popped up on JS Online today – at least 30 students are suspected of trading nude photographs online.
Joe Koch, assistant superintendent of student services for the Waukesha School District, issued a letter to parents urging them to keep an eye on their students’ online activities and to notify police if they find any of the images. The district and police are also circulating two public service announcements detailing the dangers of sexting.
Do you know what your kids are doing online? My guess is that, through little fault of your own, you really don’t know. Do they have cell phones? Our kids are raised with technology and are outpacing most of us when it comes to understanding and usage.
