If you’re like us, you probably have about 352 coffee mugs precariously stacked in your kitchen cupboard. Over the years, tucked away in a dark niche above the sink, they’ve slowly multiplied. Where did they come from? You picked one up here, one there, and added it to the collection. Work gave you a mug for a “special” occasion one year. Then there’s the red and green Christmas mug with a tree and snowman on it. Another has a strange, faded word, phrase or logo whose meaning is lost to everyone in the house. (I’m looking at one now that reads, “KRONNES” in bold which, spelling aside, brings to mind a horrible illness. Nice.) And not a few mugs have little dings and chips around the rim from daily use. It’s a mess in that cupboard. Too many mugs with no significance. Yes, they get the job done, in terms of being a vessel for the most important drink on the planet. But that’s just it. We ask: Shouldn’t coffee have a more worthy place to call home? We think so, and we have just the thing to help!

You may have already seen the Cream City Catholic mugs in our small shop. This is not just an average mug, folks. We designed a truly unique cup that brings together church and drink. No wall of separation here! Coffee and Catholicism, the two essentials of body and soul, merge in one slick-looking mug.

Each cup depicts an original Cream City Catholic sketch of one of Milwaukee’s historic Catholic churches. Spin it around and you’re reminded of everyone’s favorite online resource for local Church news and, of course, the three blokes who bring it all to your screen.fullsizerender_2

So Milwaukee, imagine knocking back a cup of joe while reading The Confessions and, every time you break for a refill, taking in a stunning view of the Basilica of Saint Josaphat, Saint Stanislaus or a number of other churches in Milwaukee. Make your days special. Join us in celebrating coffee and Catholicism!

We like making bold coffee and bold statements. This mug facilitates both.
