What’s not to like about Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward? You’ve got a tightly packed neighborhood of old warehouses that have been transformed into beautiful condos, restaurants, bars and shops.  The Outsider is a new, classy bar and restaurant located here. Perched on the top of The Journeyman Hotel, it’s a place you’re going to want to visit soon. The views of the city from this spot are exceptional and, as the sun sets on these beautiful summer nights, you couldn’t ask for a better place to spend the evening hours with good friends and some wine. If you’re hungry, you can choose from a small menu taken from Tre Rivali, the main restaurant located in The Journeyman Hotel. I’ll let some photos I took speak for themselves.

One thing: The Outsider is only a couple of weeks old, so it’s very popular. In the lobby there was actually a line at the elevator. Tip: Bypass the line and take the stairs to the second floor of the hotel. From there you can hop on an elevator to the top. This probably saved me 20-30 minutes. 20160719_222421 20160719_222446 20160719_22250720160719_22261420160719_22271520160719_22275420160719_222820
