On the Feast of Saint Patrick (March 17th), a Solemn High Mass in the extraordinary form will be offered at 12:00PM at the historic Saint Patrick Parish, located on 7th and Washington on Milwaukee’s South Side. The church was built in 1876 and features numerous stained-glass windows of the saints, as well as one of the most intricate marble communion rails in the city. Somehow, it managed to escape the sad fate of so many communion rails in the ’60s!

Check out more photos of Saint Patrick’s in our gallery and mark your calendar for the 17th! If we learn more, we’ll pass it along.

* Note: previous time of Mass was 11AM. That has been changed to noon.

Detail of marble Communion rail, thankfully still intact.
