    I am so impressed by the content in this video. It makes me wish we had known of The Troops of St. George when my boys were young. Our older boy, now 23, was in that “other organization” though our parish, but it was run mostly by the moms. My son’s Dad was involved but he was definitely in the minority and it soon seemed more important to “win” badges rather than have the experiences to actually earn them. My son never made it past the Webelo stage because of the overly female influence.

    I absolutely love the message on the back of the T-shirts: Keep Calm and Slay Dragons. In this world where men are considered to have “toxic masculinity”, and that is deemed a bad thing simply because they are men, we definitely could use more Dragon Slayers.

    I’ve seen a similar group of Catholic Boys and young men in Scotland. Many of them were French Catholics. They were spending a month in the forest of Scotland. They had adult supervision, but they were tasked with building their own little huts, constructing a large cross, an altar for the Celebration of Mass and engaging in the learning of Catholic Doctrine, fun and work, in training to be Catholic Men.
