On Milwaukee featured an excellent profile of Saint Stanislaus Oratory. The article has an impressive gallery and discusses the parish’s Polish roots and the present-day (growing) Latin Mass community. You’ll also read about the ambitious restoration project, which seeks to undo the appalling damage inflicted on the interior during the tumultuous and iconoclastic 1960s. The author appreciates the value of plain old architectural integrity and, without getting into any sticky theological debates, he rightly considers suspect the radical changes to the building’s interior.
